There is no part of the 14th Amendment that requires a legal conviction for insurrection for disqualification. You would make a better case for no legal conviction to strike a candidate from the ballot under the 25th Amendment (yeah, yeah, I know, you aren't very smart). There is no part of the 14th Amendment that requires a legal conviction for insurrection for disqualification. You would make a better case for no legal conviction to strike a candidate from the ballot under the 25th Amendment (yeah, yeah, I know, you aren't very smart). Prepare for the chaos when (remember the two-way street) states begin striking Biden from the ballot.... I'll prepare for and even support the chaos if Biden ever leads and inspires an insurrection but until that day there is no legal justification to remove him from any ballots. |

I believe it a mistake to make that the legal standard. Do you support the shooting of the palestinian protesters that broke down the protective fencing at the White House last night? They didn't "comply" with directions. Or do you support lethal force for political reasons (fascism)? nothing but a money grab. "nothing" is obviously wrong. Had the (D)OJ done its job and brought a prosecution, the chance of a civil suit would be uncertain. More troublesome, civil suits are now common among victims. Recall as far back as OJ (Simpson) this has been part of our legal structure. When he was found not guilty, the Brown family won a monetary judgement for wrongful death. Currently, two (2) families of the victims shot by Kyle Rittenhouse are suing both Rittenhouse and law enforcement. |

There was never even another firearm present. She was clearly committing a number of crimes and should have been prosecuted. Four months... six months... maybe a year in prison.
