What i liked about her game vs. UCONN is that when she went cold shooting threes, she went to the hoop and scored layups and recorded assists.

WTF would she leave college? She said she felt the weight of the world come off her shoulders after the big game. Glad to step away from the pressure. smd is not wrong about the pay. The base salary is only 76K. But of course she can continue to get the real money from endorsements. She declared for the draft and is already scheduled to attend. |

However she was playing against a very stout team and fatigue does set in late in tournaments, especially when your team's physically over matched most games. would have liked to have seen her drive to the basket and create more. she seem to have good success when she did do that. Good luck to her I don't think I'll be watching much WNBA. |

But... I think this is a bad idea. Yes, she had a generational career at Iowa. All the credit was earned and deserved. Record interest was justified. Moving up will be a more challenging competition. There are many good players at the next level and the league would be better off showcasing them also. If you're a golf enthusiast, you may want the broadcast to show Tiger Woods 95% of the time. If you're a casual watcher, seeing Tiger walk the fairway, Tiger talk to his caddy, Tiger hit his second shot on #4, Tiger adjust his cap..... when another dozen are vying for the lead isn't captivating.
