The issue of AI was seemingly inescapable for Biden. At Camp David one weekend, he relaxed by watching the Tom Cruise film “Mission: Impossible — Dead Reckoning Part One.” The film’s villain is a sentient and rogue AI known as “the Entity” that sinks a submarine and kills its crew in the movie’s opening minutes.
“If he hadn’t already been concerned about what could go wrong with AI before that movie, he saw plenty more to worry about,” said Reed, who watched the film with the president.

The court was (should? is?) tasked with siding with the Constitution. I know, you hate the fuck out of that. How else can we get closer to your dream of an authoritarian, fascist state? Vote Biden, that will help you submit to the state. Still, that doesn't mean the your post is completely absent of value outside of bragging about your TDS. You do at once see, recognize and understand the role of agenda driven, motivated and dedicated courts and jurisdictions. It's why the Party staunchly prizes and defends the (D)OJ. Why they shop for the most partisan judges and jurisdictions to try and take out political opposition. Targeting courts where winners and losers are pre-decided based on agenda. |

Few are taking getting pissed on and praising the administration for telling them it's raining. Across the board Americans are struggling economically and no amount of gaslight will change the cost of groceries. The US has outperformed other economies for at least a century. This will (should) only widen the gap. Several reasons for this beyond already having a better economic infrastructure making economic growth easier. The US currently has far fewer regulations than the other countries. The US has more consumer wealth to spend into the economy. Additionally, energy, a key driver of the economy is more readily accessible and far cheaper. Rattner is making t5he case that Dak Prescott is having a better year than any QB in the FCS. That's nice and all but does it really have any meaningful value? What matters is how the US economy stacks up to US capabilities and expectations. Jimmy Carter, then Obama and now Biden are saying we must accept lower expectations and results. Malaise is more than just a speech. The American people aren't ready to agree with them yet..... |
