WNB are the first three letters of WNBA! I have! No of the previous could shoot threes like Clark. In fact, to a woman they all thought a three meant something completely different....

In fact, to a woman they all thought a three meant something completely different.... How many inches you're packing? In girth, but thanks for your interest!

With Caitlin Clark on the way, Indiana Fever set to have 36 games on national TVCall it the Caitlin Clark effect. The WNBA will show 36 of the Indiana Fever's 40 games on its national broadcast and streaming partners, starting with the season opener at Connecticut on May 14. Last season, the Fever had only 22 of their games shown nationally. The Fever, who are expected to take Clark first in the WNBA draft on Monday, will appear eight times across ABC, ESPN and ESPN2, as well as eight times on ION and twice on CBS. In addition, the Fever will be highlighted 13 times on NBA TV, four times on Prime Video and once on CBS Sports Network. www.foxsports.com/stories/wnba/with-caitlin-clark-on-way-indiana-fever-set-to-have-36-games-on-national-tvI'm a fan of Clark. But... I think this is a bad idea. Yes, she had a generational career at Iowa. All the credit was earned and deserved. Record interest was justified. Moving up will be a more challenging competition. There are many good players at the next level and the league would be better off showcasing them also. If you're a golf enthusiast, you may want the broadcast to show Tiger Woods 95% of the time. If you're a casual watcher, seeing Tiger walk the fairway, Tiger talk to his caddy, Tiger hit his second shot on #4, Tiger adjust his cap..... when another dozen are vying for the lead isn't captivating. i'm not a wnba fan, so i don't know the details, but they are probably just reacting to where the demand currently is. the networks are about making money. she is stepping up in competition but most of the experts are predicting she will be a star. she will need to prove herself, stay healthy, and stay motivated. she's already making a lot of money. the wnba is dead, if there is a caitlin effect they'll likely expand coverage to other teams. it has to start somewhere.

It's official. Drafted by the Fever. I think the highest paid player inf the league makes around $250,000 a year, it'll be interesting to see how much they pay her.

I wonder how Indiana fans will feel if Caitlin Clark goes on to have the following career in Indiana
16 seasons 1 Championship 9 seasons of failing to advance beyond the first round of the playoffs

Clark will make millions per year in endorsements That'll probably last a couple years until the sponsors realize that the WNBA draws minimal interest and probably won't maintain a significant jump once she's settled in.

You and Castles have no kind words for the Clark and the WNBA. What if Clark stirs interest in the WNBA. Magic, Larry, and shortly later Michael gave the NBA the shot in arm it needed. I'd rather see them succeed than fail

Only 10 on the court at a time, 5 per side.. one person can make a HUGE difference, moreso than football, baseball and even hockey

Chamberlain was the best player on the court, how many times did he beat the Celtics?

Michael won 6 leading the Bulls. How many did Pipen win without Michael. Do you deny Michael was one of the top 5 players in the history of the NBA?

While I agree, I hope that's not the case. What she did for college basketball won't duplicate to the WNBA, unfortunately. But even a small bump in viewership is a good thing.

Do you deny Michael was one of the top 5 players in the history of the NBA? jordan won zero without pippen and jackson. and Chamberlain was more dominant than Jordan. jordan could be top five, however the game has changed a lot over the last 10-20 years.
