Mylene Paquette... Had the privilege of listening to this woman last week. She's now a motivational speaker and workshoper (is that a word?). Her story is excellent and her telling of her crossing is incredible. The highlight of my week in Montreal for sure. Had some really good food too. www.mylenepaquette.com/en/Did she talk about what happens after she capsized? There must be a bigger boat following her in case she gets into trouble, no? She did, yes. I think she said she capsized 12 times. She was by herself. Her boat was built to 'rite' itself in the event it rolled or capsized. She has a water tight chamber and straps for herself to hold her in place when when the boat rolled. She went through Hurricane Humberto. It's an amazing story. She showed us video and pictures and talked a lot about the adversity she faced. She broke down in front of us when she showed the video of her finishing (she said she does that every time she watches it though).

Scary is not a strong enough word to describe the dangers she faced.! Terrifying! That’s the kind of experience that you’ll treasure throughout your career! I’ll hunt for her on YouTube to see if I can get a sense for free. Edit: found one in English!, interview

Towards the end she started getting complacent...one evening/night she fell asleep without strapping herself in and without closing the water tight door....that night a storm rolled in and tossed her around like a ragdoll in her cabin...had the boat capsized in the storm she would have drown.

(The Queen Mary II enters the story too) She had to row, that's what she had to do...the days that she couldn't were the toughest.

I found these Nielsen ratings from 2022 to be quite surprising!
So the Yankees (3.0 DMA rating overall for the full season) outperformed both the Knicks (0.9), Nets (0.8) and Rangers (0.7) combined, and the Islanders (0.4) and Devils (0.2) combined, in New York. The Dodgers (2.1) outperformed the Lakers (1.5) and Clippers (0.5) combined, and the Kings (0.4) and Ducks (0.2) combined, in L.A. The Phillies (4.2) outperformed the 76ers (3.1) and Flyers (1.6) in Philadelphia.

In the sea battle of Sluys fought in 1340, off the coast of (today’s) Belgium, the English under the command of Edward III destroyed the French fleet and left England in control of the channel. France lost 15,000-20,000 men under the relentless attack of the long bow.
No one dared tell French King Phillip VI until his jester thrust forward and said , “Oh the cowardly English, the cowardly English”.
On being asked why, replied, “They did not jump overboard like our brave Frenchmen”.
The King got the point. It was said afterward that the fish drank so much blood that if God had given them the power of speech, they would have spoke in French

Update: To avoid the reccurence of scar tissue, I have to self-catherize once a week for the next 12 weeks. Update:
I did this today and I found an easier method.
Sit on a chair and aim that thing at the toilet. Better vantage point, more stable, less motion.
My new hobby.

Establishing a comfortable method eases the process and mind. I wonder if self/catheterization is possible with a small penis

I was able to stand up and do it without much trouble. Sales reps also gave me a shit ton of them. The biggest issue was the risk of infection when my immune system was already really weak. How long do you expect to have to do this?

I hope...
